Nestled in the mountains of Nagano at an elevation of 860 meters (2,821 feet), this is a luxury home exclusively for those who want to escape tourist traps, experience a side of Japan rarely seen by outsiders, and do it in style. Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

This is a detached accommodation facility newly built in December 2024. This accommodation is limited to one group. It is located right next to Maiko Ski Resort. We are not currently serving meals. Welcome to Hotaru, which is the only inn in Japan that used to a temple. You will have the entire building just for yourselves! And, check-in/out is done by yourself, so you do not need to worry of being physically close to anyone. Located 5 min drive from JR Urasa station, which is 90 min by a bullet train from Tokyo.　 Hot spring is 10 min walk. A beautiful trekking/jogging course is right in front! The guests can use two bikes for free of charge. Great food, great sake!

"Yuzawa Building" is open on 2019/2020 winter. It locates on east side of EchigoYuzawa station in a quiet street for only 4-minutes walk away. There is the public Onsen which is most likely used by locals and also, good Yakiniku shop and Soba within walking distance. Because the room is compact and cozy, it is the best choice for up to 4 people family or group. It has kitchen, bath, restroom, washstand are provided along with dining by 1 Western-room and 1 Japanese-room.

Maison d'hôtes KIRISIMIZU

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.

　窓の外は、10キロ以上先まで何もなし。田んぼが一面に広がり、日本百名山のひとつ巻機山（標高1,967m）が真正面に位置します。タイミングがあえば、満月がそこから昇ります。 　絶景の中で、田んぼを渡る風を感じながら、ゆったりとお過ごしいただけます。 　春先は水が張られた田んぼが鏡のようになり、夏は緑、秋には黄金色。10月も後半になれば巻機山のてっぺんが雪に覆われ、中腹は紅葉に彩られます。そして冬は2m前後の雪に覆われます。 　裏の田んぼでは無農薬手作業での米作りをしており、滞在中に参加していただくことも可能です。 　WiFi完備。お仕事をしていただくスペースもあります。 　自炊も可。徒歩20分（1,600m以内）に居酒屋、飲食店、コンビニがあります。地下に普通乗用車1台分の駐車スペースあり。
