The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

Cabin has three bedrooms with queen beds, loft has a California king and a double bed. Loft also has a computer and kids area. Two full baths, outside dining area and a screened in lower deck with refrigerator, ceiling fan and hammock for relaxing.

The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

A community gas grill, tables and chairs, swings, and a fire pit are available to guests in the lakeside courtyard, or in winter settle in beside the condo’s electric fireplace to enjoy the frozen lake views and watch the ice fishing. Watch for bald eagles, loons, swans, and other wildlife!
