Rancho Relaxo Eco House

Rancho Relaxo Eco House is an off-grid property, just a 10 minute drive (13kms) outside of Daylesford, VIC. It is an ideal couples retreat or a friends getaway. The Cottage is two story and the main bed and additional bed (within the reading area) is located on the 2nd level. The Cottage, including the sleeping areas, is an open plan space with natural light and views of the spring fed dams and paddocks. Local bird life is abundant and you may see the occasional Kangaroo wandering the grounds.

Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

Wariin Cottage means wombat in Dja Dja Wurrung language. The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

Little Stanley

Nestled at the end of a quiet street in town, Little Stanley is your own private and tranquil hideaway. Surrounded by a large garden and backing on to bushland, yet right in town, it’s the perfect spot to settle in and recharge. Relax with your morning coffee in the courtyard which is bathed in morning sunlight. With beautiful views over Breakneck Gorge and close to restaurants, day spas and Hepburn Mineral Springs, you can relax on the verandah, in the courtyard or get out and discover this beautiful region. This is the perfect place to unwind and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Pets are allowed, however owners must take responsibility for them as only the front courtyard is fully fenced.
