Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Please note that Almirante is on the mainland and is not a tourist destination. Most people use it as a stopover on their way to the islands of Bocas del Toro. However, if you choose to stay in the area we are happy to recommend local restaurants and activities such as chocolate tours, river rafting, etc.
