Central to the areas activities, the days can seem short with easy access to Fontana Lake, the Appalachian Trail, Tsali Recreation Area, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Nantahala Gorge, & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This lakefront cabin is tucked away on a private Lake in the South Carolina mountains, minutes from Lake Jocassee, and sleeps 6. It’s the perfect quiet getaway for couples, families, or friends looking to escape into nature. After a day exploring waterfalls, hiking nearby state parks, or boating on Lake Jocassee, come back and unwind in the hot tub overlooking the water.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Mateo 39A at Nantahala Weddings - pets allowed

Pets allowed. $75 pet fee per pet. $150 penalty if you fail to indicate number of pets via "Guests" drop-down menu when you book. The Mateos are 4 small bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible.

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.
