The Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville NY. The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. Blue Haven in the Catskills

We built a studio-house on the foundation of an old summer cottage. We did not expand the footprint, but furnished it with select pieces and appliances and gave it contemporary finishes. We also added a screened porch, open deck and stone patio. The woodland and mountain views are lovely, while the location is convenient to Lake Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. Ulster County levies a 4% tax on overnight stays. Payment is made anytime between confirmation and arrival.

Newly built apartment steps from Mohonk preserve.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.
