Historic Cobblestone Carriage House near Downtown

Enjoy a piece of history at this carriage house! Jonathan Bourne owned a mansion along with this home, and his son purchased a whaler, Lagoda, in 1841. The ship is currently displayed at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, which is walking distance; just four/five blocks of downtown New Bedford, where you can also enjoy shopping, great food, entertainment, and the ferry to either Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. This coastal gem provides an idyllic retreat with panoramic views of Brandt Island, West Island, and extending all the way to Falmouth and the Elizabeth Islands. The backyard is perfect for outdoor dining and family fun, complete with a barbecue grill, picnic table, and fire pit.

Cozy three bedroom ranch

A cozy ranch with three cute bedrooms, bunk-beds for kids, a sun room for reading a book or having a cup of coffee, and living room with a large TV. There is an outdoor shower in the back for washing off the sand from the beach. We are located a five minute walk from Bad Martha Farmer's brewery, and half a mile up the road from a boat ramp perfect for kayaks or small boats. Also available to short-term rental in the winter.
