Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 4 bedroom home. Has beds in 3 of the rooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed. One room has a queen size bed. The 3rd room with a bed has a full size bed. Sleeps 6 people comfortably. The 4th room is an exercise room with a treadmill. Nice cozy back yard. Nice living room with oversized couches. WiFi offered. The living room has a tv and 3 of the rooms has tv in them. There is a nice koi pond in the front yard.
