Set between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast, with 10 acres of meadow bordered by a small river The Annexe offers the perfect getaway for dog owners and nature lovers alike. We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Waterfall Country, National Caves nearby Swansea, Mumbles, Gower coastline and many so many other attractions within an hour’s drive.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Afan Forest Park Heather View

This beautifully renovated three-story house offers stunning views of the mountains and the historic old railway bridge Ideal for all leisure based activities. Providing easy access to the network of mountain bike trails, and a short ride to Afan Park visitors centre. The beach is a 45-minute cycle ride, which can be accessed using the cycle path network. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.
