Welcome to Forest Retreat! We are nestled in the hills of Western New York, 23 miles to Chautauqua Lake and 14 miles to Lily Dale. This unique home is near several wedding venues and the Earl Cardot Overland Trail, which is surrounded by 2,300 acres of state forest. We are located between 2 local ski resorts, and only 87 miles south of Niagara Falls State park. Relax by the fire, kayak, or fish in the 2 acre pond and just enjoy the scenery. We do require a signed waiver to utilize the pond.

Enjoy our patio and spacious lawns plus in-ground pool. Walk along the blueberry bushes, farm roads and woodland trails. Guest space has a simple & natural aesthetic, a relaxing haven.

This condo offers AC for the summer and a gas fireplace for the winter. We have complimentary coffee and tea with cream and sugar on site. Kitchen is equipped with some spices, oils and cookware. We also supply clean linens and towels. This place is great for 2 to 6 guest for family or close friends with 3 beds and a futon .

Only 528 yards to the snowmobile trail, 10 minutes to the Amish Trail, and 12 miles to Boutwell Hill State Forest. Enjoy nearby hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, and exploring Amish country and local wineries. Located on a quiet dirt road, yet close to main travel routes.

Village Retreat, with four bedrooms and large yard

Enjoy the peaceful, private experience at our village home in Gowanda. The entire house with yard, patio and front porch are included. Downstairs bath updated in 10/23 and half bath (toilet and sink) installed on second floor 1/24. A new playset was added 7/23. Well-behaved pets are allowed with advance notice. Damage or extra cleaning due to pets will be charged. Window AC unit located on first floor and in the 3 upper bedrooms during summer months.
