The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Cosy, clean, quiet and spacious 2 bedroom garden apartment with separate lounge, kitchen and bathroom, with every amenity for a great stay. Large paved patio with barbecue and outdoor furniture and views over the acre of permaculture garden. Adults and children over 13 only (garden safety issues). Two mins walk to Locals cafe, 2 mins drive to takeaways/bars, 5 mins drive to centre of town, coastal walkway, galleries, and museum. Ten mins drive to Pukekura park for Womad and Bowl concerts.

Coastal Walkway Studio - BBQ Grill, Outdoor Area

From the moment you enter the driveway you can feel yourself de-stressing. Herbs & Vegetables in raised bed garden behind cottage- help yourself. We grow lots of our own food & love to share when available.

Cosy by the Sea

We offer you a private, warm, small quiet space neatly contained on the ground floor of our family home. Our quiet street sits right above the ocean where you can hear the lapping waves of the Tasman sea from your private courtyard, and have unlimited views out to the horizon. You'll want a camera for the sunsets. The entrance to the room is separate from the entrance to our house, so one has complete privacy. We offer modern bicycles for guest use at the cost of $20 per day, per bike.

The Stay on Egmont

Welcome to The Stay on Egmont. Nestled in the quiet Egmont Village at the base of our Maunga, the road to the mountain is straight out the gate. The cottage is a quiet retreat 10 mins from New Plymouth city. Wake up to the call of Tui and the sound of a stream running outside. Only a 10 minute drive into New Plymouth and beaches, 5 mins to the Egmont National Park. The Village hosts a cafe, petrol station, large mountain bike park, NZ's largest Holden Museum with luge and mini golf.

Wisteria Cottage - Cosy and Tranquil

Experience the tranquility of our country cottage, perfectly positioned amongst native trees, just a short walk from breathtaking views of Mount Taranaki. Our Cottage is cosy, newly refurbished and fully equipped and detailed. With Mangati Walkway just around the corner, a bike ride takes 30 minutes to Fitzroy Beach/Te Rewa Rewa bridge. Please note : -We are 10 minutes drive to the heart of the city. -Please expect traffic noise -Our home is on the same property -Must love cats!

The House of ART offers a place to enjoy Art, Rest and Travel away from home and continental breakfast supplied to start your day. Located in a newly built subdivision just 5 minutes drive from New Plymouth Airport, and 10 minutes to the city centre. An enjoyable spot to relax and enjoy views down to the sea. A small local shopping centre is 3 mins drive away with supermarket, pharmacy, cafes and take-aways for your convenience. Our aim is to make your stay an enjoyable time away.

Self Contained Studio/Sleepout

Detached from the main house, this is a sleepout/studio. Guests love the quiet and secure neighbourhood location. Local shopping centre with supermarket, chemist and library are 10mins walk/5mins drive from the house. We are a 5mins drive from NP airport/10mins drive to New Plymouth CBD and approx 30mins drive to Mt Taranaki. Walking distance to Bell Block Beach and the scenic Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to NP in an hour. Great for a weekend/short visit to the region.

Heart of Brooklands

Welcome to the Heart of Brooklands. We are located a 2 minute walk from the gates of the Bowl of Brooklands. Perfect for attending concerts, Festival of the Lights, WOMAD or for just roaming around Brooklands and Pukekura Parks. New Plymouth City is a short 5 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk through the park to the CBD. Guests have secure onsite parking on the premise. We provide a quiet newly built studio securely positioned to maximise privacy from the family home.

Little Church Bay Bed & Breakfast

Our newly constructed Little Church Bay is located in one of the best locations in Taranaki. It’s on the beachfront at East End Beach -a short stroll along the walkway into town for the best shops, cafes, bars & tourist attractions. Available for bed & breakfast stays & function hire ie wedding ceremonies. A romantic oasis cosy & private with many activities on your doorstep. Pls note we no longer hold wedding ceremonies at Little Church Bay 2 night min.

Young Street Private Gem - So Close to Town

This self-contained unit is located less than a 10 min walk from New Plymouth town and costal walkway. It boasts a warm cosy space with all the amenities you need. It has a separate entrance from the main home allowing for more privacy with its own bathroom and kitchenette (with microwave, two elements, fridge, kettle and toaster). There is plenty of free street parking as well as a single car parking space next to the airbnb (for small cars only).
