Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Twizel - Foehn Cottage

Foehn Cottage provides boutique accommodation in a tranquil location in Twizel. This delightful retreat features two bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 3 guests (one queen bed and one king single). The fully equipped kitchen includes a cooktop, microwave, fridge, and all the essentials for meal preparation. Additionally, the cottage offers a washing machine for your convenience. Double doors from the living area open onto a charming, sunny deck, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

Tau Studio - Boutique Accommodation

Tau Studio is a boutique style chalet with a modern stylish decor and a hint of luxury. Everything is provided including top quality linen. It is very spacious but also has a lovely cosy, warm feel. Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5-minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

Our place is situated at the beautiful Ohope beach, 2 minute walk from a very popular swimming and surfing beach (great for learners), 5-7 minute drive to shops, wharf, golf course, bush walks, restaurant and cafes. We offer unlimited wifi, a smart tv in bedroom, card games and kids toys, a deck with a BBQ, large sunshade an equipped kitchen for cooking or baking.

Paparoa Whare

This cottage has been carefully designed and crafted over several years completed in 2012. It has 2 large private decks which look into the surrounding native bush of Paparoa National Park. Modern kitchen with tea and fresh coffee provided. Comfortable leather lounge sweet. Queen bedroom with French doors opening to a large deck facing north, the queen bed has a quality mattress fresh laundered linen and towels provided. 5 minutes walk to Truman Track and stunning Truman beach.

The Hillary Family A-Frame in Central Queenstown

A super-cute retro A-frame with a historic connection. This is the Hillary family base when in Queenstown. There’s even a picture of Sir Edmund when he first returned from his historic climb of Mt Everest in 1953. Recently refurbished, with a new kitchen and bathroom, it is cute, comfortable and has stunning views from the front balcony, the living area and the master bedroom. Walk to the shops and restaurants in central Queenstown. There’s plenty of parking at the house.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
