The views of the harbour and Mount Manaia are a pretty special back drop while you enjoy a wine on the deck or fire up the wood fired pizza oven to cook your fresh catch. A fantastic coast for fishing, diving, snorkelling, water sports or coastal scenic hikes - we are definitely spoilt for choice in our little slice of paradise.

The Little Blue Bach

Cute and cosy 1950s bach situated centrally in the popular seaside village of Ngunguru, just a short 100m stroll to the estuary. The bach is ideally suited for singles, couples and young families. A convenient five minute drive to Tutukaka Harbour, also known as the gateway to the Poor Knights Islands. World class beaches and coastline including renown surf beach Sandy Bay, family-friendly Matapouri and photogenic Whale Bay are all within a 20 minute drive.

Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
