This is a stylish log cabin located in a pristine wooded area at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) in Iizuna, Nagano. The home is the perfect retreat for couples, families or small groups. It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
