Spend the day exploring Nova Scotia then head to your private retreat and relax in your beautiful hot tub. Top the evening off with around a bonfire where the only sounds you'll hear is the water splashing up on the rocks and the crackling of the fire. The giant deck features a dining area and a Napoleon BBQ.

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. The apartment is fully detached from our house and above the garage. There is a smart TV and WiFi as well as Air Conditioning and on site parking for one vehicle. This is a pet and smoke free apartment.

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. We are 15 minutes from Ski Wentworth and in the off season Wentworth Bike park. There are also some great ATV trails near by.
