A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

You’ll love Greenloaning Cottage because it is comfortable, clean and cosy. Situated on the edge of a lovely Borders village close to all that the Scottish Borders has to offer. Our cosy farm cottage surrounded by mature trees, has a stunning view over the Eye Valley and can accommodate 4 people. There are plenty of walks, enabling you to see the sheep and cows close by and the abundance of wildlife on the farm.
