Driftwood Gardens Guesthouse on High Rock Lake

Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna​ & Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer​ and​ walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a ​table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, canoe, swing, firepit, grill & gardens. ​We DO have WiFi.​​

Ridgetop Guest House, Private Pool, Stunning Views

Welcome to our private Guest House/Pool with stunning views and nature-like experience in mind. Nestled high on ridge with grassy fields, garden foliage, over 100 Japanese Maples and mature trees. Located in the foothills of NC Relax on our property with viewing areas overlooking lakes/valleys and long range mountain views. We will not utilize guest house area during your stay. Foliage around pool adds privacy. Includes Queen, kitchenette, 50” Smart TV, 610 count sheets, snacks and beverages.

The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

Modern Cabin Retreat w/ Sauna

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

Mountain modern Carriage House downtown Morganton

The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
