The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

The Footbridge is a one bedroom studio on the doorstep of beautiful Horseshoe Bay. Adult guests, whether your a single or couple , will enjoy a private courtyard and own pool. A queen size bed with attached en suite. Not suitable for infants and children. A brief walk ,160 steps, to great cafes, restaurants, beach, and bush walks. Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat.
