Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. SUMMERHILL, a cheerful house

With a view of Lake Superior and Duluth's harbor, SUMMERHILL is full of color and light. 5-blocks straight up from downtown and Canal Park. Park on the street right in front of the house, or park off-street in the alley behind the house. On city bus routes. Safe and friendly, this is a quiet house and probably not a good fit for people who want a livelier, party atmosphere. The owner, a senior citizen, resides in an adjacent apartment.
