The living space is open plan with a large kitchen, table and chairs, two sofas and a satellite TV. The bedroom downstairs can be made as a kingsize bed or two singles depending on requirements. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Upstairs there is a kingsize bedroom with a Velux window and a luxurious bathroom with a beautiful round window. The Lodge is a 5 min drive to the beach.

A very special place to stay on the Bere Peninsula, Devon. This refurbished traditional slate-hung 'one-up-one-down' former silver miner's cottage was built in the 1800s. Set in the Tamar Valley National Landscape and Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, with views of Cornwall and shared use of our 1/4 acre garden. A romantic setting for the perfect getaway. Our hut is situated in a traditional Cornish Apple orchard. Guests will have private access to the wood fired hot tub. Guests will be able to explore the surrounding countryside, beaches and restaurants before coming back to enjoy the beauty of the hut. We have a host of wildlife in the orchard including pheasants, woodpeckers, barn owls and honey bees. However you choose to relax our luxurious shepherd's hut is the perfect space to unwind.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
