COTC: Log Cabin Glamping

The Cabin on the Coulee is a lovely two story rustic log cabin on a complete section of land (640 acres - 250 ha) that overlooks a 200 acre Alberta coulee, making for an amazing view! It rents as a complete unit that sleeps up to 6 adults with a full bath on the main floor and a half bath upstairs. The cabin has a full sized refrigerator, range, a full kitchen (including dishes, cutlery and cookware), a propane gas BBQ, a wood stove, outdoor fire pits, high speed WiFi and a projector for movies.

This schoolhouse is the smallest one of two on the property. Country living extends to the outdoors on the private patio. Wrap yourself up in one of our vintage handmade quilts, breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy unobstructed views of neighbouring fields. Our private cozy rustic cabin nestled among massive spruce and pine trees is the perfect couples’ romantic getaway. Uniquely designed for the couple looking to sit back, retreat from the outside world, and rekindle that special connection between you and nature. Located 10 minutes north of Cremona just off the famous Cowboy Trail. Hike along the trails that wind through the woods surrounding the cabin or leave the farm to head west to photograph the world famous Alberta Wild Horses.

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

Half Moon Guest House

The Half Moon Guest House is quiet & peaceful, unique accommodation, comfortable atmosphere and friendly hospitality. It's only a few minutes to Wells Gray Park and 4 km from town. The guest house is on the same property as the owner's house. On our little mini ranch we have 5 horses, 2 friendly pup's and one cute little kitten. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We also provide coffee/tea. Our Guests can use the fire pit and barbecue and relax on the patio.
