Bookbinders's Retreat

Located in Oamaru, this beautifully restored, cosy and warm Cabin is the perfect place to base yourself at while you explore the Otago region. Bookbinder's Retreat is small self-contained studio, situated adjacent to the main house. Whilst in the town, the property has a rural outlook over the Public Gardens, and a secluded feel. I have enjoyed creating the space on a small budget over a long time. Travellers seem to appreciate the craftsman like quirkiness of the space which reflects the town.

Seaside Serenity

Seaside Serenity is everything the name suggests, with stunning, uninterrupted views of the Kakanui Coastline. Watch the seals sunbathing on the rocks, all just a short distance from the house balcony. Our spacious, modern home is ideal for a romantic getaway for two or a fun-filled weekend for the family.The house boasts direct sea views from all the living areas and the master bedroom. Curl up with a good book on the chairs in the lounge facing the sea, and you will feel relaxed in no time.

The Villa

Semi detached villa. Within walking distance from town. 15mins walk or 3mins drive to Scotts Bar and Restaurants. Lovely older house. Kept in the older style of furnishings but comfortable and warm. There is a play ground which is at the school a couple of hundred yards away. Also a German Café and Vegan Cafe across the road. A free standing fire and heat pump for warmth. The whole house is yours 3 Bedrooms, open lounge, dinning room and Kitchen. Coffee and tea are provided.

You will stay in a carefully curated home that has beautiful antique furniture, art and curiosities that perfectly match the eclectic town of Oamaru. Three spacious bedrooms with three beds. Private with lots of room to move, our place has a relaxing beach house feel. Surrounded by large lawns and native trees, it has ultimate privacy. We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.

The Lookout - Ocean Views, 1.6km to Penguin Colony

Enjoy stunning views of sea and mountains, sample local craft beers from award winning breweries and visit our little Blue Penguins! Very close to the end of the A2O cycle way. This fabulous little contemporary beach house is right across the road from the ocean. Stroll along the waterfront to Campbell's Bay surf break and the gorgeous sandy beach to All Day Bay. The Cube is the place to really relax and recharge enjoying the views and gorgeous sunrise and sunset. Chill out at home or get out for a surf or walk on the beach.
