The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Whole 3 acre is your fenced private dog park! Bring your pups here for a great time! We found this house with a big yard and built a fence so that our dog Maga could roam free. Unfortunately, she left us before we move here. Then one guest's dog, Legend, ran unleashed for the first time in his life. We were so touched to see how happy he was. The yard is therefore named Legend’s Run. In memory of our dog Maga, who is a legend herself, hope to bring joy to you and your dogs!
