It has electric fireplaces, a wood fire pit, a gas firepit, an electric smoker, a charcoal and gas grill, and two creeks to enjoy during your stay.

The Nut House is nestled in the 65000 + acre Shawnee State Forest. It is a unique COMPLETE get away in the forest in Southern Ohio. With 16’ cathedral ceilings, custom crafted artisan interior that compliments the view! Blue Creek has earned the name “The Little Smokies” for good reason. This recently renovated historical building is located in the heart of downtown Vanceburg. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Ohio River across the street beside the Veteran’s Memorial Park while you take in the quaint small-town feel. Historical landmarks and dining options are within walking distance. Fun photo opportunity in front of the "Welcome to Vanceburg" mural located on the side of the Airbnb. Cliffside Properties / Carter Caves Cabin Rental

Perched on the edge of the canyon at the entrance to Carter Caves State Park, our 3-story cabin easily sleeps 10. On our twenty acre preserve, there are 5 cave entrances and two caves that open into the State Park gorge, with many box canyons and waterfalls to explore. Whether you're enjoying the State Park's massive natural bridges, cave tours, horseback riding, swimming, fishing or kayaking on Smoky Lake or Tygarts Creek, our Cliffside Cabin rental is a great place to relax and explore.

Nestled on 4 wooded acres along Pond Creek, this one of a kind cabin will certainly be a unique experience. Walls of windows blur the lines between inside and out, connecting you with nature in every room. The house is very open, with rooms winding around the central stone fireplace with varying levels. The kitchen is stocked with supplies for preparing your own meals, but downtown Portsmouth restaurants are just 10 minutes away. Outside are patios for relaxing and woods for walking.

Queen size bed with full size bed in loft overhead. Microwave & small refrigerator. Dining table with 3 benches. Comfortable sitting chair with footstool. Fishing included in our 12-acre lake. Walking path runs the length of the campground. Bring bed linens (sleeping bag or blanket/sheet) & pillow, bath linens (towels/washcloths).

Right off of interstate 64, Just a few miles from Carter Caves State Park, 20 miles to Cave Run Lake, 13 miles to Grayson Lake. Ten minutes to Cave Run Lake and Morehead. 3 bedrooms, king, queen & 2 twin beds, 2 new cots with memory foam toppers. 1.5 baths,living room with 2 couches & 3 chairs. Full kitchen, accessible tub/shower. Snacks, cereal/granola bars, oatmeal, donuts, bread, bagels, local eggs, coffee, tea. Any combination of these items will be offered.
