Welcome to our little 1950's classic Kiwi Bach! Cozy 2 bedder, decent living area, huge front/back yards, all the comforts. Some say its the best location in Omoks! Beautiful calm swimming beach across the road and over the park. Within a stones throw is a dairy, cafe, restaurant/bar, playground, massive park, fishing wharf, boat ramp, and epic walk/bike paths. Not far away are hot pools, the best pizza & pies, fish & chips, golf course, supermarket... 20 mins drive to Tauranga/Mount Maunganui.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Enjoy the peacefulness and serenity this unique location has to offer. Enjoy a refreshing swim , relax in the outdoor bath tubs or try your hand at catching a trout. Enjoy the tranquil sound of nature from every aspect. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. You'll love this unique and romantic escape.

Hillside Cottage

Best of all, start up a fire to heat the hot tub, keep piling on the wood and in about three hours, lie back and relax under the stunning milky way.

This bright, airy and peaceful cabin is a converted section of a dutch barn set in a lovely little garden surrounded by willow trees. There are great walks from the doorstep; around the estuary, which is just over the road, and beyond via the Omokoroa Cycleway. Further up the driveway you'll find the paddock with our two alpacas and a bubbling brook running through it. The cabin includes a kitchen with small oven, single induction hob and microwave. Fast wifi is included.

Waitawheta Cottage

Our whimsical cottage is perched near the top of the tranquil Waitawheta Valley at the gateway into the Northern Kaimai Ranges. Enjoy river swimming and hiking right from the property or just relax on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the valley. 5 minute drive to the Hauraki Rail Trail and the award-winning Falls Retreat restaurant. 10 minutes drive into the heart of the Karangahake Gorge and Waihi and 15 minutes through to Paeroa or out to Waihi Beach.
