18 South End, Stromness a charming 1800's, 4 star cottage set right on the sea with its own private garden pier, slipway and parking. It has a 180 degree view over the sea, through big windows with stunning views of sunrises and passing vessels. We also have 4 other Cottages right on the sea, a 1- bedroom, 2-bedroom and three-bedroom and another 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom Cottage. Each Cottage is equipped with absolutely everything including a Cook's Larder, big selection of teas, coffees etc.

New: Cantick Head Lighthouse Cottage

This comfortable cottage was once the home of a Victorian lighthouse keeper. Now an ideal escape which is pleasantly situated with most rooms having views looking out over the sea towards the Pentland Firth or across the hills of Hoy. From the lighthouse gentle strolls take you to the Hills of White Hamar wildlife reserve just next door, to a nearby sandy beach, or to the shops and general store in Longhope. The lighthouse was designed by the renowned engineers Thomas and David Stevenson.

Seafront Anderson's Harbour Cottages, 10 South End

A total refurbishment was undertaken early 2018 and this character mid 1700’s stone building, now includes a top of the range modern kitchen, 4 brand new bathrooms all en suite and all bedrooms have smart TV’s as well as the sitting room with a view over the sea. It is positioned right on the seafront with its front door 3 meters from the sea. It has its own pier, stone little slip and parking available too. Magnificent views of passing boats, sea life and sunrises across Scapa Flow.

Remote Island House, beach, and hot tub available

Nistaben is a peaceful newly renovated traditional Orkney house with direct private access to its own beach with panoramic views of the island and seascape. Upon request our luxury hot tub sanctuary can be booked. Nistaben is within easy walking distance of the pier, airport, shop, archaeological and historical sites, RSPB North Hill Nature Reserve, local amenities and The Hot Tub Sanctuary. Trowietoon is a small cottage built in 1933, it is a quirky little cottage set a stones throw away from Newark Beach. It is a peaceful location and the perfect quiet getaway When the weather is stormy, the views of the beach are amazing, the raging sea crashing onto the shore, viewing from the cosy conservatory what more could you wish for Should you want to book less than the minimum nights required then please get in touch as this may still be possible
