Less than two miles from the Big Stone Lake boat landing, we are easy access to the best Perch fishing in the area. Ortonville is a cozy little town amidst the farm fields of west Minnesota, right on the border with South Dakota. We accomodate up to four people on four extra-long twin beds. We have seating, wifi, a TV, coffee pot, refridgerator, microwave, and self-check-in. *Our bathroom is EXTERNAL, is a shared bathroom with other guests on the property, and requires a slight walk. * Welcome!

The Otters Den is centrally located adjacent to the lake on the South Dakota side between 2 public boat launches and close to Hartford Beach State Park. This private property offers a fully furnished camper with everything you need for a memorable adventure. This area is renowned for its fishing and hunting.

Located off the south shore of Big Stone Lake and 2 blocks from downtown Ortonville and Artie's Bait Shop.This property is the ideal location for lake visitors. Cozy well equipped cabin on the South Dakota side of Big Stone Lake. 37 feet of shore line, minutes from dining, groceries, and Hartford Beach Recreation area. Guests will enjoy a private 40' dock and the location is a kayaker's and wildlife lover's paradise! Enjoy grilling on the over sized deck, take the 4 available kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth) out to explore the historic Big Stone Islands, or share a campfire in the firepit on the patio! Boat ramp very close to the cabin. Fiber internet!

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.

SCL: Wild Turkey In Ortonville

Beautiful view and large backyard in a very quiet area make this home a great place to stay while visiting Ortonville/Big Stone Lake. The home gets it's name from the visiting groups of turkeys we often see in the backyard. This home offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. There is off the street parking, outdoor outlets, and a fish and game cleaning area in the garage (We ask that you take your fish/game scraps with you for disposal).

A known 'stepping stone' for migratory waterfowl across North America. Peaceful, quiet, wide open spaces and great kite flying.

This has been a wonderful undertaking, preparing my rental house into an Airbnb. I saw lots of potential and need for guests to be able to have a clean, comfortable and super private, spacious living space for their stay while out and about on whatever they might be doing, whether it be visiting with family, out hunting, or on their road trip just exploring what Western Minnesota has to offer!
