A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

@Maggie is a contemporary, architect designed holiday home in a small eco reserve, 5 minutes from Montagu, on the R62, about 180 km from Cape Town. Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Perfect for couples or families, the Farmhouse is situated on a hillside with views of the cliff-face, the olive orchards, the valleys and the surrounding hills. Located on the Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve we have 1000 acres of fynbos and renosterveld that is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Hikes, views, riverine forests, olive groves, streams and rock pools and a reed-ringed dam - swim, kayak, picnic or just sit under the willow tree and quietly enjoy the solitude.

Akkerbos River House

Akkerbos River House offers the perfect escape to the countryside, enjoy sublime peace, quiet and privacy on the banks of the Klein River. Akkerbos has a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bedrooms all leading onto the veranda. Enjoy Akkerbos all year round, with direct river access to cool down and relax in the garden during the summer, and getting cozy in the cooler months with an indoor fireplace, underfloor heating and hot tub.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.
