Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Bardo Cabins - Pine Cabin

One of Bardo Cabins' two, four-season sister-cabins; Pine Cabin is quietly nestled below a granite outcrop among towering old pines on the beautiful, quiet, fifteen acre Dube Lake. Hike, bike, snowshoe or ski the private two kilometers of trails, dive and sunbathe from your own floating dock or wade at a nearby sandy shore, relax bug-free on the screened-in porch listening to the sounds of Bardo's surrounding ten acres of mixed old growth forest, or venture beyond to nearby amenities.

Enjoy a quite stay on a wooded lot in the heart of cottage country! The cabins are conveniently located within a short walking distance to the lovely town of Dorset, Kawagama Lake and Lake of Bays. The scenic lookout tower and hiking, snowmobiling and ATV trails are all at our doorstep! In town you can find restaurants on the water, Robinson's General Store and an LCBO. Come swim in the pristine waters, fawn over the fall colours or go for a rip on your snowmobile. It's all here!

The Guest House is a luxurious retreat tucked into the trees on 10 acres of land. It will provide you with the ultimate in privacy while being just 5 kms from the Town of Huntsville. This 325 square foot cabin was originally built as a hunt camp in 1955 and has been newly renovated to be modern and comfortable while still maintaining its vintage rustic charm. Come and unplug in this quiet simple space only 5 minutes from Ilfracombe beach. Many folk singer/songwriters have recorded in this cabin over the past few years and it is now being opened up as a quiet getaway.
