This home, located on 7 acres, has two master suites, each with king size beds, and their own private bathrooms. It's located 10 minutes from Volcan off the road to Rio Sereno. Mountain springs and streams, pure spring water to drink, beautiful pastures with horses, hiking trails, and a spring fed swimming pool. We have spectacular old growth cloud forest, including birds, monkeys, squirrels etc. But most of all...tranquility, privacy, and relaxation. We promise...you'll love The Emerald Forest.

Little House in the Jungle

Cabana sits on the edge of a canyon with black squirrels, coatimundi, agouti and heaps of birds. It's quite peaceful, classically rustic and fairly private. Has a porch, one bathroom, electric hot water tank, yard and parking for one car. Includes WiFi and shared washer/dryer. No smoking in the Casita, small pets will be considered upon inquiry. 25 minute walk to town, taxis are $3. If you come from/go to main road at stairs it should be $1. Heaps of info in listing to be self sufficient!

This newly remodeled Airbnb is on the ground level. There is another Airbnb located on the upper level. The yard is shared with the host family and other Airbnb guests. All water on the property is filtered and safe to drink!
