Welcome to the Serenity Retreat! We are on one of the highest peaks between Wimberley and Canyon Lake. Only 3 minutes from the iconic Devil's Backbone Tavern, 16 minutes from floating the river on the Horseshoe/Whitewater Amphitheater, 20 minutes to Wimberley wine country and 25 minutes to both New Braunfels and San Marcos. Enjoy our 13 acres to explore and hike, plus farm fresh eggs depending on the season! We are located down a gravel road about 3/4 of a mile, which can be a little rough fyi.

Overlooking the Pedernales River, our 400 sq. ft. treehouse-style yurt is a one of a kind adults-only romantic retreat for couples/friends who want both adventure and comfort and music-wineries close by. Start your morning with coffee on the patio, then go kayaking, fishing, or swimming right off our boat dock.

The Lillipad A Lovely Vintage Camper

This memorable place is anything but ordinary - a quiet, peaceful setting with a bird sanctuary right behind the unit observed from the kitchen window. Relax on the deck in the evenings watching the beautiful sunset, star filled skies at night, the donkeys and chickens corralled in the distance, and the goldfish swim in the Lilypad pond just off to the side. It is best suited for 2 adults but could accommodate a small child. Two other units also available - The Henhouse & The Donkey Garden

After endless wineries and shopping, toast an incredible sunset, then relax while stargazing into the wide-open deep blue sky.

This property is very private with no other B&Bs on the property. No noise at night other than nature. Very dark nights so stars are incredible. Great sunrises and sunsets. It’s the ideal vacation if you're looking to get to nature while still being minutes from Historical Fredericksburg. Outside: Wood fire pit, gas fire pit if too windy to light a fire. We have a yoga dome, tipi, disc golf, hammocks, trails, fossil hunting, a Spring (rain dependent), etc! The Bus sits on the edge of a hill overlooking the Texas Hill Country. The land provides an opportunity to connect with Nature.
