In the country, as quiet as possible in Southern Bedford County. This garage-top studio apartment is on Dannie’s private driveway, 200 yards down from the gate. Dannie also operates an AirBnB Lake house at mile marker 8 on Leesville Lake, just 2 hundred yards further down the driveway, all located on Dannie's 10 acre, forested retirement retreat. There is free access to our Leesville Lake boat ramp available with plenty of parking for a boat trailer and possibly limited access to our dock.

It is perfect for a relaxing break or an adventure! Activities include boating (with guest docks), swimming (indoor and outdoor), pickle ball, working out, and relaxing in the hot tub, steam room or sauna! If you are working remotely, this quiet space includes a desk and high-speed wireless. The individual HVAC unit also has a UV light.

Guests staying with us in Lynchburg can visit our baby goats and petting zoo free of charge at our Peaks of Otter Farm stay. 25 baby goats as of 3-31-25! ROMANTIC, BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE and COZY is how our guests describe our barn studios. The studio apartments offer private baths, private entrances, kitchenettes with fridge and microwave. We are 3 miles to LU in a great part of town and close to food and shopping.

The "Kitchen" includes coffeemakers, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and a 2 burner hot plate with all necessities to cook (there is no standard oven or kitchen sink - if needed we will pick up your dishes and clean them for you!). Fresh linens and towels are provided. The cabin dates back to the 1800's and was recently restored.
