The Sunderland Beach Cottage

Welcome to The Sunderland, a beach cottage located at the rear of property behind a Quaker barn shed. Located in the Sunderland Bay area on Phillip Island Victoria, home of the world famous Penguin Parade, within 10 minutes walk of Surfies Point Surf beach and 3 km from safe surf beach at Smiths Beach. The cottage built in 2014 is modern, fully self- contained, perfect for couples or a family with off street parking and safe play yard for children. Wheelchair ramp, Highchair & portable cot.

Self contained, situated at the back of our property in our private backyard. (One of two cabins in our back yard). Access through gates and carport. Yokkaso is a self contained stand alone studio at the front of the properties main residence. The accommodation is brand new with beautiful hand crafted furniture and modern amenities. Enjoy light breakfast foods including muesli and spreads. Parking is on site at the front of your own private entrance. Short walk to the Colonnades beach which boasts beautiful sunsets and a place to reconnect. Yokkaso is within walking distance to the local tavern, restaurants and a grocery store.

Somers Cottage Studio - where vines meet bay

Opened in March 2021 this lovingly styled Studio is a 200m walk to the 100 Steps Beach access. Enjoy the nourishing sounds & and smells of nature surrounding this seaside haven. The local birdlife, koalas, dolphins and more are a highlight. We love the way farms & vineyards roll to the shores of Western Port Bay, perfect for beach mornings and winery afternoons. The Studio, it's outdoor shower & patio area are for guests exclusive use, and we're mindful of our guests privacy.

Elsewhere Red Hill - on 10 acres - 6 mins to beach

Blending modern, French & farmhouse influences, our tucked-away slice of heaven captures the best of the wine region. With remnant forest surrounds, a solar-heated pool & proximity to Merricks beach (6 mins), everything is here to help you unwind. A barbecue, pizza oven, outdoor sink & two deck seating areas will draw you outside to enjoy balmy evenings. Nearby is Merricks Store and plenty of great wineries.
