Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. It is four miles from Stranraer's ferry town and offers the most wonderful unspoilt countryside on the Rhins of Galloway peninsula. Places to visit include Portpatrick's fishing village, a botanical garden and sandy beaches.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

Country Cottage/ Beach 10mins/ Portpatrick 15mins

A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.
