Tom Hayter - King size pet-friendly with patio

Make yourself at home in this ground floor double en suite room with king-sized bed. This room has its own entrance at the rear of the building and once was a Victorian stable block. Luxuriate in the en suite bathroom which has a vaulted ceiling with skylight. Lounge in the small patio garden, which has a table and chairs. This makes it an ideal room for pet dogs. Dogs welcome! Pet-friendly room with garden patio. Bring your dog for a small charge of £10 per dog per night, max 2 medium dogs.

The Happy Haven is all about Work Rest and Play. The Accommodation is designed for the 21st Century traveller in mind. It’s a mixture of hotel facilities where we give guests freedom to use a range of free entertainment facilities and breakout areas with space to chill, games and pool table and a bar you can run yourself and eat in self catering style. .We also offer private bookings for hot tubs and indoor spa. Costs start at £25 pp per session for private hot tub bookings and £50 pp Spa.

James Hill - Four poster with balcony / family

Enjoy this romantic first floor en suite hotel bedroom that faces the front of the building. Double doors open onto a charming Juliet balcony that lets in plenty of New Forest morning sun. The king-sized pine four-poster bed is hand-carved, making this an ideal room for your romantic getaway. This room also suits families with children, but please be mindful there is a Juliet balcony so extra vigilance is required with smaller children!

Verderers - Super King or Twin bed - Ground floor

Discover the amazing oak headboard from a huge oak tree created by artisan Rob Dyer from a tree that fell in a New Forest farm. It took four men to carry it into the building. The Verderer’s Rest is a ground floor hotel room with a view of a small courtyard. The room has a zip and link bed that can be set either as a twin or 6-ft-wide double. Tell us your preference when you book.

Gillies Holt - Romantic four poster / family

Hide away in your first-floor room, which is at the rear of the hotel and has its own external open staircase. It’s ideal for romantic couples, but also child-friendly for families with children of any age. Sleep in a silver-grey, king-sized, four-poster bed made from Devon pine from sustainable sources. Mind your head, though, because the room has some sloped ceilings!

Standing Hat - Four poster family

Treat yourself to a stay in this front-facing romantic ground floor four-poster bedroom. The room is constructed from local Douglas Fir and has bamboo flooring. Your king-sized four-poster bed is made by the designer and artisan Rob Dyer from a beech tree felled in Brockenhurst village. This is one of the most sensual rooms you will find at our New Forest hotel.

Rhinefield - Four poster bedroom

Relax in this first floor en suite bedroom which is full of character with lovely, locally-sourced wood surfaces, and is ideal for a romantic break. Luxuriate in the four-poster bed, which was specially made from a single Ash tree by New Forest designer and artisan Rob Dyer. It looks beautiful and smells amazing.

The accommodation includes a cosy 4ft 6-inch wide and 6ft 3-inch long double bed. See the stars through the skylight in the vaulted ceiling of the en suite shower room on clear nights. But only the stars can look back at you! This room is not dog or child friendly.
