Ochre walls and green gardens make this typical Portuguese mansion a vibrant retreat. Its verdant grounds, tiled rooms, and 7 bedrooms, including 2 in 2 guest houses, are a welcoming place to host a family reunion in the Algarve. While there are plenty of beaches near the villa in the Portimão area, it’s also a short drive to the old town and beaches of Lagos. With a rural setting amid farmland and gardens planted with fruit trees and flowering vines, the villa feels like your own private country estate. Savor the quiet and the sunshine from a lounger by the outdoor swimming pool and linger beneath a palm tree at the alfresco dining table. Your holiday includes daily breakfast, and a housekeeper will make sure you’re comfortable. The living areas at this vacation rental are spread out between a main house and 2 guest houses, but all feature a mix of refined modern pieces and colorful prints. Look for details like mustard-yellow tile around the fireplace, sea-blue cushions on the dining chairs, and brilliant tile on the floor of the fully equipped kitchen.
