It is also close to Lake Monroe, Lake Lemon, Griffy Lake and Brown County for those nature lovers. Come make this your "Home Away" for work, an outdoor adventure, an IU game or to visit IU. You’ll love our place because of the privacy - and the friendly neighbors (us), the beautiful outdoor space, the kitchen/great room, the hardwood floors, and the volleyball court and large yard. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets - but no cats).

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

The 1840 Homestead

Step back in time…our homestead with all the modern conveniences. We have several nearby wedding barns (if you are attending one). We are 30 minutes away from downtown Indy, 26 miles from IMS Track...Brownsburg’s, Lucas Oil Raceway 18 miles. Turkey Run State Park is 34 miles. We enjoy meeting new people, making their vacation completely enjoyable. After 11/24/ 2019 Swim spa with deck...instead of a hot tub. Entire beautiful home.
