Beautiful hikes, kayaking, mountain biking and whale watching opportunities abound, and on rainy days, an eclectic selection of dvds. a A wonderful place to unplug for a few days. This remote property is fronting a quiet ocean inlet. Located 3 km back in the forest, it is an oasis of tranquility. Enjoy tidal flats filled with oysters, bird life, and clear water. The cottage is located at the edge of a garden clearing. Great kayak launch with access to Desolation Sound. 3 km access road, which is a bit bumpy in some places. Bring your groceries, a flashlight, and solid shoes. The fridge is 3/4 size. We have the best drinking water ever here! No smokers, please.

Welcome to the Huckleberry house, a private cabin 3 minute drive from the ferry and within walking distance to the shops in Quathiaski Cove (10 minutes) and the ferry (15 minutes) Your private cabin is in the garden area of our backyard. Our house/cabin are nearby, but your cabin is its stand alone structure. It is common to see Bald eagles and Ravens soaring overhead and deer grazing in the yard. Great launch point to explore all the amazing adventures Quadra has to offer !

This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Walking and hiking trails right outside the front door. A perfect getaway in any season. You will be renting the upper main two floors of the chalet.
