Our architecturally designed little home by award winning architect, Anna-Marie Chin is nestled against beautiful exposed schist rock in a stunning landscape. There are 3 acres of land to roam on and the views from the land are stunning! The lounge has north facing high angled windows allowing all day sun and provides stunning views of the hills beyond and the gorgeous Central Otago landscape. From the west sliding doors and the built in window seat you have stunning views of the Remarkables. The Queenstown trail is right outside your door so it is a fabulous location for walking and biking. Come and stay and see for yourself!

For ski enthusiasts, the Remarkables and Coronet Ski Areas are only a 30-35 minute drive away. This home is ideal for those seeking a blend of comfort, convenience and stunning natural vistas.

Modern suite with river views

We offer a cosy private suite in a rural location with an ensuite and beautiful views. We live onsite with our dog & children. The suite has a bathroom with a bath, breakfast station with a table, toaster, jug and microwave (no kitchen). There's access to shared lawn however no access to the main house. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 min drive, there is no public transport close by. Downtown Queenstown is a 15 minute drive. We are usually pretty quiet and are often out and about.

Close to some of New Zealand's best hikes and walks, including The Routeburn. There is also a host of amazing activities such as bungy jumping, sky diving, canyon swinging, jet boating, horse trekking, and river rafting all year round. Central Otago is home to some of the most celebrated wineries in the country, some are even accessible by bike!

Located 40 metres from the lakes edge and connecting you to Queenstown's main walking/cycle trial, offers you a short stroll, long walk, or adventuress bike rides. Five minute walk from the studio is the marina with water taxi service, the famous boat shed cafe, and a boutique brewery.,

The Billiards Room

We call our house The Billiards Room because it was designed and built around a full-sized billiards table. This was a labour of love by a retired builder who used recycled materials to create a home with real character and charm. Modernised with style, it's a wonderful holiday home, summer and winter, still owned by the family of the builder. Even somewhere as beautiful as Queenstown, guests often prefer just to stay in. Serious.
