Good road access all the way to the cottage. Driving distance from, for example, Iso Omena in Espoo is 80 km, 1 hour. ​From the pier you can go for a swim or admire the sunrise. Also a beautyful sandy beach is very near. A wood-fired sauna to add to the enjoyment. ​A fishing area with lots of berries in the forests.

This idyllic apartment is perfect for a little get-away, while also available for rent during the autumn and winter, October - April, on weekly or monthly basis. Contact me for more information. The old wooden house is located in a calm but central location of Ekenäs. The guest apartment is situated on the second floor. It has a fully equipped kitchen for self catering, a private WC, two cosy bedrooms and a third sleeping space in the hall. The shower is in the shared bathroom downstairs.

Old Town - Seafarer apartment

Seafarers and hatmakers have since 1880s enjoyed life on the property where an old stable and cabin were transformed into modern living in the 70s. Now fully renovated keeping the 70s vibe and furnished with Finnish design. The hosts look forward to share the closed cosy garden in the Old Town - you only have 100 meters to the ocean, the old church with its beautiful tower and the market place.

Tervetuloa rentoutumaan vastavalmistuneeseen moderniin mökkiin, jonka isoista ikkunoista avautuvat upeat maisemat yli peltojen! Mökin ympärillä olevissa metsissä voi retkeillä, sienestää ja marjastaa, ja kilometrin etäisyydellä on luonnonkaunis Gölenin järvi. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä Billnäsin ruukkia, ja myös Fiskarsin ruukkikylä ravintoloineen ja putiikkeineen on pyöräilyetäisyydellä. Puulämmitteinen perinnesauna, joka on vapaasti vuokraajien käytössä, tarjoaa syvät ja kosteat löylyt.

A nice and easy cottage close to long shallow beaches and forest trails. Only 90 mins from Helsinki by car or by train (2 km from station), 15 mins from Tammisaari and 25 min from Hanko. At the cottage you can enjoy a soft steam in the wood-heated sauna and cool down on the large balcony. The forests nearby are perfect for picking berries and mushrooms. We also recommend checking out the Skogby frisbeegolf course and other local museums and activities.
