The cottage offers an open living area, separate bedroom, bathroom and a private patio-area, all crafted with sustainable materials. The cottage is located in the back of our family property with private access and carpark. We provide fresh linen and towels, tea & coffee, and basic cooking facilities.

Maybe instead, from the comfort of the great room dial it back and marvel at the light changes and tidal swings as you look across Kaitoke inlet onto Mount Karioi. Our space is designed for couples or solo travelers. 🙂

Relax at a unique and tranquil getaway, cosy, romantic and immersed in nature. An open plan studio nestled next to a gentle stream on the native forested foothills of Whale bay, Raglan. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

Te Aka Raukura - close to town & surf

Unwind and enjoy being close to town, surf, and everything Whāingaroa-Raglan has on offer. Watch the sunset from the deck, cozy up in front of the fire, or grab a flat white from the cafe around the corner. WINTER UPDATE: we’ve stocked up on firewood, the firebox is ready for chilly nights. The perfect surfer’s retreat on the west side of the one-way bridge, just a quick drive to Manu Bay. A great spot for kids! And pets are welcome!

Bay View Beach Retreat - big views, deck & kayaks

Relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the harbour from the spacious, elevated deck of this well-appointed Raglan beach house. Take in the beautiful views while you enjoy a barbeque on the deck, chill on the loungers, or stretch out on the sofa. Enjoy comfortable, clean beds, quality linen, a well-equipped kitchen, a movie on Netflix, a stereo, a garden to explore or take out a kayak - there are two here for guests to use.
