The Laughing King Retreat, Honeymoon Island Suite

The Laughing King Retreat is an adults only, organic waterfront farm situated directly on the peaceful waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Your private guest suite will enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, private waterfront pool, private beach, hiking trails, miles of soft sugar sand sandbars to explore and enjoy. It's also a short walk to The College of William & Mary and the Williamsburg Train Station. Leave your car in our free private parking lot and enjoy the short stroll to the heart of Williamsburg.

The Verde Suite at 249, Culpeper Downtown

A guest favorite—the Verde suite boasts a king bed with Italian linens, comfy robes, gas fireplace, balcony, large private ensuite with STEAM SHOWER, double vanity and more! This bright, cheery room overlooks the shops on Davis street and invites you to savor the views from its multiple windows. You can certainly see and feel the charm of the small town emanate from below. The Verde is located on the second floor of the hotel. No elevators. Must walk one flight of stairs to access room.

The Guest Quarters at the Inn is a vacation rental site situated one block from the Chesapeake Bay in the historic and charming town of North Beach MD. The Guest Quarters are partnered with The Westlawn Inn, an award-winning fine dining restaurant with early-evening live music on the weekends. The five-unit building is in the Arts and Crafts style of the 1920s and boasts special hand-crafted detailed trim work that fits the historic charm of days gone by in the coastal town.

Our Garden Rooms are located in either one of the two original carriage house buildings founded here in the late 1800's. They feature two queen size beds or a single queen size bed. All garden rooms are decorated in a light and airy color scheme and are cozy and intimate enclaves with recently renovated spa-style granite bathrooms.
