This design award winning detached property is surrounded by grounds which include a slope which may not be suitable for very young children. With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Woodland Lodge Staithes on the Cleveland Way

Woodland Lodge is a single-storey, detached lodge set at the bottom of a steep hill in a quiet part of the village of Staithes, in the North York Moors National Park. With a small enclosed courtyard and an open-plan living space as well as private parking, Woodland Lodge is the perfect base in which to relax after a day of exploring this fantastic coastal area. Staithes Beck runs alongside the site with its own waterfall and wildlife. It also offers bicycle storage, and an outside tap.

Riverside Guest Annexe

Riverside guest annexe is in a secluded garden but is within 50m of Waterfall Park and Great Ayton High Green, with its shops, pubs, cafes, take-aways and Tourist Information. The annexe is attached to our house, but has its own entrance, patio, garden area and parking space. We can accommodate 2 adults comfortably, plus a third adult or up to 2 children on our pull-out and/or sofa bed. We provide bedding, towels and toiletries. No smoking or pets are permitted in the annexe.

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique , stylish cosy cottage. Just 100 meters from the dog friendly sandy beach with breathtaking views . Walk to Saltburn to explore the many restaurants and bars or stay local with many coffee shops , bars , places to eat and shops to visit . When you are not exploring the local area , of walking many of the excellent trails you can sit and enjoy a glass or two on one of the two large comfy sofas in front of a real fire.
