A characterful cosy cottage for two (Super King zip link or twin beds) in beautiful Arkengarthdale, the most northerly of The Yorkshire Dales, with large walk-in shower. There are stunning walks from the door, along Arkle Beck, through picturesque woods or onto open moorland. Secure cycle storage is available, the area is perfect for on and off-road cycling and we can advise guests on some great routes. A village pub, and a highly regarded hotel restaurant are a short walk away. Sorry, no pets.

The property provides the perfect setting for families and friends gathering for special occasions or holidays in beautiful North Yorkshire. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms . It is a lovely place to stay for couples, walking groups and families with kids. APRIL-OCTOBER: FULL weeks, FRIDAYs ONLY. Rest of year, shorter breaks any day .

A great countryside getaway to relax & escape to the country but close to amenities & a great base to explore the area, cycling, walking, hiking or just relaxing.
