Off Grid Converted Sugar Shack

This little rustic OFF GRID converted sugar shack is perfect for a quiet getaway. There are 2 solar panels that feed the lighting and water pump; limited, non-drinking water for the 2 sinks (summer only); and compostable toilet. There is no shower, no oven and no fridge. A cooler, an urn of drinking water and firewood are provided. The shack is on our 35 acre property, with our home 500ft down the lane. You will have access to our property to walk through the maple forest and wildflower meadow.

Fisherman and snowmobilers welcomed. No electricity or running water. We repeat, no electricity or running water! No shower, however a rustic outhouse is available - you are fancy camping. Water jugs and firewood for the wood stove and bon fire are provided.

Family / pet-friendly lakeside cabin on Black Donald Lake! Hot tub, fire pit, enclosed deck, dock, cottage games = the ultimate cottage trip! Lake frontage, boat launch on the property and no neighbours on either side of the property. PLEASE NOTE before booking - this is an older cottage in a rural setting so you will likely run into critters / bugs / mice, etc. We would not recommend booking if seeing these would ruin your trip!
