In summer, your private deck is perfect for watching eagles, loons, ducks, swans and fish while enjoying cocktails or BBQ. For the lake, use a stand up paddle board or canoe from our stash. Winter? bring your own skiis for the groomed trail on the lake. A neatly appointed kitchenette gets you through the basics. Use the grill for bigger meals. Stay at our wilderness ecolodge located in the Kenai Fjords! We offer oceanfront yurt lodging on our property that is surrounded by the Alaskan wilderness. Activities of sea kayaking and hiking are included! Our secluded location is accessible only by boat from Seward, Alaska. We provide boat transportation for all guests. The boat trip is about 40 minutes each way - look for wildlife like whales, otters, eagles, sea lions, and more! This entire experience is included in your nightly rate.

Welcome to our spacious 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment, four times the size of a hotel room with the same views of the more expensive hotels in Seward for a faction of the cost. Start your day off with a cup of coffee, sitting on your deck, watching the sunrise over Resurrection Bay & the Chugach Mountains. In the evenings enjoy watching the activities on the bay, including wildlife (sea lions, otters, whales, eagles, birds, etc), commercial, charter, and tour boats & the cruise ships.

A Cottage on the Bay

A cottage on the bay is a beach front house with 3 bedrooms, each looking out over Resurrection Bay. A well supplied kitchen and living room allow you to relax while watching the ocean and mountains. The large front deck expands into a sitting area with fire pit, looking over the beach. Stoke the cedar sauna and enjoy walks to the north and south while it warms up! The whales, sea lions, seals, otters and birds make this place truly unique.

Oceanfront Inn Beach Bungalow

The Beach Bungalow This two-story, 2-bedroom house has 2 private decks, one on each floor, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, dining area & living room, and all brand-new appliances and furniture! This beautiful beachfront property can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably, with room for more! 4 beds with high-end mattresses, plus air mattresses, 1st-floor deck and 2nd-floor balcony, wifi, and the best view in Seward! NO SMOKING, NO PETs upstairs!

Oceanfront Inn Duplex (Downstairs Suite)

A single private unit located downstairs in a two-story duplex. The suite includes two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a living/dining area with couch and table, and a full kitchen stocked with dishes and basic cookware. The bathroom includes a stand up shower, no bathtub. Each suite also features a private balcony with the best view in Seward! Access to a shared hot tub, (extra fee), is included with rental of this unit.

Rustic Roots Seaside Blush Cabin (ADA)

Rustic Roots Cabins offers 7 nightly units. Our Blush Seaside Cabin is an accessible, spacious, waterfront cabin with amazing views of Resurrection Bay. The cabin is ADA-accessible, beachfront, and perfect for 2 guests. It includes a roll-in shower, accessible ramp, queen-size bed, sitting area, small kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, and two burner stove, outdoor patio with BBQ, private firepit, and private beach access.
