Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

Basecamp 550 Campground Glamping Tent

Experience elevated camping in our glamping tents that accommodate two people and are situated among a few others at our eclectic campground in the valley between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. These tents are cleverly designed with cozy fireplaces, a queen bed and some comforts from home. Our location offers mountain views and vast open skies for stargazing, as well as close proximity to the hot springs. Our heated bath house is a short 1 minute (or less) walk away from the tents.

Our contemporary cabin is located 10 minutes (6 miles) from the town of Telluride. We are 2.7 miles form the Town of Mountain Village Gondola parking structure. The Gondola is a fun, free ride to town. Enjoy our heated, inviting, pet-friendly cabins, which offer access to the salt-water spa, firepit, and grill, all within walking distance to downtown Ouray. Please note: Cabins do not have running water or private bathrooms. Drinking water is available in our heated restroom and shower facilities, located just a short walk from the cabins and maintained regularly throughout the day. Pets are permitted with prior approval, as well as an additional deposit and nightly fees.

I love this "Down Valley " area of Telluride. It is a 17 minutes drive up river to downtown Telluride. Our riverfront deck sits right on the San Miguel. If you leave your bedroom window open you can hear it all night long. Being at 7500 feet, Fall Creek, is also nicer if you want an easy altitude adjustment! The unit modernly decorated with 900 generous square feet for two persons.
