Quirky, Luxury Hideaway

Discover total peace and solitude in this newly built lodge on a 250 acre organic farm. The hot tub is wood fired and filled with fresh well water. It's perfect for a secluded, romantic getaway at any time of year. It's also family friendly. You have access to the whole farm. You can hear the rushing mountain stream behind the cabin. Children and pets love to paddle in the streams on the farm. It's on it's own in a meadow - accessed by a stone track with mountain views in all directions.

Setup with everything you may need, including bedding and towels. With a double bedroom, bathroom and sofa bed this is perfect for a romantic hide away bolt hole or a place for family adventure. Fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, slow cooker, microwave, cosy log-burner and a stocked wood store. Dining inside or out on the decking; tables and chairs are provided and a private bbq and firepit on the seated patio area for those late summer nights stargazing with a nice glass of wine.

With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

COVID 19. We will be taking extra precautions to make sure the cabin is as clean as we can possibly make it. A delightful chalet nestled amongst the trees and land of Darowen. This spacious 1 bedroom chalet is ideal for exploring the scenic landscape of the Dyfi valley. There’s lots of different walks to be tackled, and if you decide to take it easy, put your feet up and enjoy the stunning views from the balcony or from our newly installed patio area with a firepit/bbq .

The nearest town is Dolgellau (10 minute drive away) which has 2 supermarkets, 2 petrol stations & some great cafes,pubs & shops.
