A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun - indoor and out! Modern home, located perfectly half way between the beach and the pub!! Large outdoor deck and entertaining area, wind down blinds and heating means this can be used all year round. The Settlers Rest Riverton

The Settlers Rest is a quaint holiday retreat, approximately 300m to Taramea bay. Safe swimming beaches, and the second longest wave in New Zealand is found at Mitchell's bay where dolphins are spotted regularly.  Walking the dog on the pet friendly beaches on low tide on sunset is truly inspiring. Relaxing and entertaining atmosphere, of the jazz/blues inspired interior. Large north facing, open plan living and BBQ area. This cosy holiday home can sleep up to 5 people and pets welcome.
