Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

Welcome to our intimate tiny home studio, the perfect retreat for couples seeking a peaceful getaway. Just a 10-minute drive to the beach, our cozy studio offers a serene atmosphere with all the modern comforts you need. The large outdoor area is a highlight, featuring an outdoor grill, fire pit, and shower, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Whether you're basking in the sun, grilling a delicious meal, or relaxing by the fire, our tiny home promises a memorable and rejuvenating escape.

2nd Floor Waterfront Lighthouse View Downtown

See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. Location, location, location! Experience true Outer Banks life at our home on the famous & historic Soundside Rd in Nags Head. Just a short walk away from a family friendly sound beach access & Jockey's Ridge, sound views and sunsets are unbeatable. AND, the OCEAN is a 2 minute drive! Inside, we offer 1BD/1BA w/ an additional tiny twin room, as well as a cozy living area & small kitchenette. Outside, enjoy a peaceful deck & birds, bunnies, etc Enjoy your separate entrance guest suite paradise!

La Vida Isla Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

Waterman's Cottage in historic down town Manteo

Located in historic down town Manteo A short walk to the waterfront where you will find a variety of shops & restaurants. We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. The space is decorated in nautical theme with collectibles & décor we hope you will enjoy. Stay with us relax, and enjoy Manteo's charm. We do allow pets with a small additional cleaning fee on a case by case basis. Feel free to ask us anything.

Crews Cottage on Roanoke Island (Outer Banks, NC)

Located in the forested dunes of Roanoke Island, Crews Cottage is attached to the main house of owners through a breezeway and screened porch. No steps! (See Accessibility section.) Approximately 1000 square feet in total size, it features a large private bedroom (queen bed) with bathroom/shower. The great room has a pullout sofa bed (full) and love seat bed (twin). Kitchenette features full-sized refrigerator, convection microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. Sorry, no pets.

The Perch - Sunsets Overlooking Saltwater Marsh

Perched above the marsh, on quiet Roanoke Island, this 1 bedroom/1 bath studio apartment, built in 2021, with a private porch and spectacular views is sure to be the Outer Banks getaway you have been searching for. This detached apartment with private access and reserved parking offers a full kitchen, outdoor grill, washer & dryer, the supplies needed to spend the day at the beach and a cozy fireplace for cooler OBX nights.

The porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee or evening happy hours!
